We are proud to inform you that we have renewed our Leather Working Group GOLD rating for another 2 years. This renewal comes as a result of an extensive audit performed by Leather Working Group in our facilities on October 29-30, 2020.
Although LWG extended all previous certifications for 1 year due to the COVID crisis, we decided to continue our commitment to improving our environmental impact and made the necessary efforts and investments to prepare the tannery for the next step in this process.
GOLD is the highest rating a tannery can achieve and to renew it, we are not only required to maintain our standards, but to show continuous improvement in many aspects of our operation including raw material sourcing, usage and treatment of water, energy efficiency, waste disposal, amongst other factors which are essential to lowering our impact on the environment.
It takes hard work and dedication to improve our already high standards and we are happy to see our hard work is paying off. We are excited to continue offering the highest accreditation in the leather industry to strengthen our partnership and to continue growing with you in the years to come.
