We are pleased to announce that the Spanish Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge (MITECO) has awarded Dercosa the official Carbon Footprint Calculation Seal for the years 2019 and 2020.
This recognition certifies our rigorous measurement of greenhouse gas emissions and reflects Dercosa’s transparency and dedication to reducing the environmental impact of our processes. It marks an important step in our long-term sustainability strategy and reinforces our contribution to building a more responsible leather industry.
We are currently working on calculating the carbon footprint for 2021–2022 and 2023–2024, with the goal of obtaining the “Reduzco” seal, which distinguishes companies that demonstrate a real and measurable reduction in their emissions.
